Dr. Karanastasis (AKA Dr. DKC), a native of Greece, excelled in mathematics and science early in life and was inspired to become a physician because his birthplace of Kos Island was also home to Hippocrates, the father of medicine. Now a resident of Orland Park, Dr. Karanastasis continues his life’s mission of community care. He enjoys using the full scope of his internal medicine competencies in treating his patients and treats each of his patients with Dignity, Kindness, and Compassion. Dr. Karanastasis also enjoys educating the community on his multiple social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Youtube.
